Abstract:Objective To investigate the clinical effect of low temperature plasma radiofrequency ablation in the treatment of senile allergic rhinitis.Method Eighty senile patients with allergic rhinitis admitted to our hospital from June 2019 to June 2022 were randomly divided into observation group(n=40)and control group(n=40)according to different treatment methods. The observation group received low temperature plasma radiofrequency ablation, and the control group received microwave ablation.Nasal symptom scores, inflammatory factor levels, nasal function indexes and life quality scores were compared between the two groups before and 6 months after surgery. Results 6 months after surgery, the scores of nasal symptoms(itching, sneezing, nasal congestion, runny nose),inflammatory factors(CRP,IL-6,IL-4),MTT and RQLQ in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, while MTR in the observation group was higher than that in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Low temperature plasma radiofrequency ablation can effectively alleviate various nasal symptoms of senile patients with allergic rhinitis, improve nasal physiological function, reduce the level of serum inflammatory factors, and improve the quality of life of patients.
