Clinical observation of amoxicillin granules combined with lomefloxacin hydrochloride ear drops in the treatment of acute otitis media in children

Abstract：Objective To explore the clinical effect of amoxicillin granules combined with lomefloxacin hydrochloride ear drops in the treatment of acute otitis media in children.Methods 82 children with acute otitis media admitted to Jiuquan People's Hospital from June 2020 to June 2022 were randomly divided into two groups,41 in each group.The control group and the observation group were treated with amoxicillin granules and amoxicillin granules combined with lomefloxacin hydrochloride ear drops respectively.The curative effect,clinical symptom improvement time and inflammatory mediator level of the two groups were compared.Results The total effective rate of the observation group was 97.56%,higher than 78.05%of the control group(P<0.05).The improvement time of clinical symptoms(ear tightness,pus,earache and tinnitus)in the observation group was shorter than that in the control group(P<0.05).The level of inflammatory mediators after treatment was lower than that before treatment,and the observation group was lower than the control group(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in adverse reactions between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion The treatment of children with acute otitis media with amoxicillin granules and lomefloxacin hydrochloride ear drops can effectively improve the clinical symptoms of patients,reduce the level of inflammatory mediators,and have a definite effect and high safety.
