Curative effect analysis of perisone combined with methylviolet solution in the treatment of fungal external auditory canal inflammation

Abstract：Objective To study the effect of peresone combined with methylviolet solution in the treatment of fungal external otitis.Methods A total of 322 patients with fungal external otitis treated in Beijing Nuclear Industry Hospital were randomly divided into two groups,161 in each group.The control group was only treated with Peisone cream,and the observation group was additionally treated with methylviolet solution under otoscope after 2 weeks of treatment.Data of the control group and observation group were collected 2 weeks later.Results The total effective rate of observation group was significantly higher than control group,the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).The recovery rate of the observation group was significantly higher than that of the control group,with statistical significance(P＜0.05).There were 6 cases in the observation group and 9 cases in the control group,and the difference was not statistically significant(P＞0.05).Comparison of quality of life assessment data between the two groups showed statistically significant difference(P＜0.05).Conclusion The treatment of fungal otitis externalis with methylviolet solution has better effect,and there is no difference in side effects,which can be used in clinic.
