Treatment status and development trend of severe OSAHS
Abstract：Obstructive sleep apnea hypopnea syndrome is one kind of sleep respiratory diseases. The clinical manifestations are drowsiness in the daytime and sleep with snoring and apnea at night,and often accompanied by cardiovascular and cerebrovascular events,and even multiple organ damage. Severe OSAHS is a lethal disease,which seriously threatened human health and the qual-ity of life. Currently,noninvasive positive airway pressure and surgery are two main treatment methods of severe OSAHS. In this paper, present situation and development trend of two approaches to severe OSAHS are reviewed.
