Clinical observation of microwave treatment of allergic rhinitis

Abstract：Objective To investigate the effect and mechanism of microwave treatment of allergic rhinitis. Methods 130 cases of allergic rhinitis in our department from January 2012 to October 2015,who were diagnosed according to diagnosis standard revised in 1997in Haikou. The total score changing of symptom more than 51%after treatment is cured,50%~21% is effective,less than 20% is inval-id. Results Among all the 130 patients,44 cases were cured,accounting for 33.8%;31 cases(23.8%)were mark-edly effective;34 cases(26.2%)were effective;21 cases (16.2%)were ineffective. The total effective rate was 83.8%. Conclusion Although there is still no cure method in the treatment of allergic rhinitis,the short-term efficiency rate of microwave treatment was 83.8%,which can be used as one of the means of routine treatment of the disease.
