Aeroalergen spectrum of 452 patients with alergic rhinitis in Huaian district

Abstract：ObjectiveTo investigate the species and distribution of the antigens of allergic rhinitis(AR) in patients of Huaian,Jiangsu so as to provide evi-dence for clinical diagnosis,treatment and prevention. Methods452 clinically suspected patients were exam-ined by skin prick test(SPT)with antigen extract. The positive rates of all allergens and the differences of age and gender of sensitized patients were analyzed.Results Among 452 individuals,the total positive rate of SPT was 83.18%. The most common antigens among all the positive cases of SPT were house dust mite dust mite,Moreover, the positivity frequencies of house dust mite and dust mite were decreased with age,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).ConclusionThe major allergen of AR is mite in Huaian area. However the frequencies of the allergens were different in different age groups.
