Abstract:ObjectiveTo analyze the distribution of multidrug-resistant bacteriainfectedby ENT patients and evalu-ate their drug resistance, to provide evidence for development of measures to reduce infection.MethodsThe clinical data of 142 casesin ENT department of our hospital in March 2014~March 2015 was collected. Individulized measures were given to the patients according to their different characteris-tics.ResultsHospital infection is the main way by which patients were infected with pathogens mainly Gram-negative bacteria, accounting for 66.4%,followed by Gram-positive bacteria,33.6%.Among them,Staphylococcus aureus was resistant topenicillin G and erythromycin with resistance rate 86.9% and 70.8% respectively. Pseudomonas aeruginosa had resistance to ciprofloxacin and gentamicin whose resistance rates were 60.5% and 53.5% respectively.ConclusionIn the clinical treatment ofENT patients,we must first distinguish the natureof the infection, use antimicrobial drugs correctly, and take measures to control, thus reduceinfection rates and improve the effect of clinical treatment.
