The role of anti adhesion gel in the prevention of postoperative nasal adhesion after endoscopic sinus surgery

Abstract：ObjectiveTo observe the effect of the treatment of nasal cavity adhesion after functional endoscopic sinus surgery with the function of the functional endoscopic sinus surgery.Methods90 Ninety cases of patients with nasal adhesionsdiseasesfromin February 2014 to March 2015 in our hospital,were included in as the research object. Accord-ing to the random number table method,they were divided into the observation group and the control group. Patients in Oobservation group were given Swiss Kang anti adhesion gel treatment after endoscopic sinus surgery with Swiss Kang anti adhesion gel treatment,while patients inthe control group were given chlortetracycline eye ointment-bandaid isolation membraneafter endoscopic sinus surgery. withchlortetracycline eye ointment-band aid isolation membrane in the treatment were observed after treatment in two groups of patients with the nasal adhesion,disease recurrence,clinical curative effect and satisfaction of all patients was evaluated.Results After treatment,were observed in the group of patients with nasal and nasal lateral wall 20%(9/45),middle turbinate and nasal septum 11.11%(5/45),17.78%(which it is) nasal adhesion is obviously better than the control group 42.22%(19/45),20%(9/45)and 24.44%(11/45), the difference between the two groups wascompared with sta-tistically significantce(P<0.05);The recurrence ratein the observation group the recurrence rate was 2.22%(1/40),much was lower than that of the control group was13.33%(6/40, 13.33%). The clinical efficacy in the observation group is of 93.33%(42/45),which is much higher than that of the control group,77.78%(35/45,77.78%),with aAnd the satisfaction rate of observation group 84.44%(38/45,84.44%)was higher than that of the control group 46.67%(21/ 45). All the differenc-es in the two groups were compared with statistical significantce (P<0.05).ConclusionThe clinical application of anti adhesion gel in the treatment of nasal adhesion after endoscopic sinus surgery hads significant effect,andit lowered the recurrence rate is low,and it is worth to be popularized in clinic.
