Abstract:"Active health"is a proactive approach that emphasizes health management and scientific lifestyle choices.Compared to traditional passive treatment models, the active health model prioritizes prevention,self-management,and early intervention, aiming to reduce disease risks, enhance health outcomes, and improve quality of life. This model aligns closely with the core principles of medical humanities education, both emphasizing human-centered care,whole-person health, and holistic well-being.The active health model not only focuses on biomedical solutions for diseases but also addresses psychological needs and social support systems, providing theoretical and practical foundations for establishing a future healthcare system grounded in a comprehensive health perspective. This paper conducts an in-depth analysis of the necessity and innovative strategies for strengthening medical humanities education in medical schools. It proposes concrete recommendations for integrating active health concepts into medical humanities curricula, thereby fostering the development of highly skilled medical professionals who combine technical expertise with humanistic compassion.
