Abstract：Chinese filial piety culture for the elderly is characterized by the traditional saying"Respect the elderly in one's own family and extend this respect to the elderly in other families".This concept has evolved beyond mere familial care and affection to become a social virtue and a harmonious social atmosphere.Grounded in the perspective of this culture,this paper explores the contemporary connotations of"Party construction+Filial piety culture"in the operating room.It investigates the significance of this culture in clinical work from three dimensions:political,historical,and practical.The study further implements the integration of filial piety and leading Party construction,awakening the awareness of respecting the elderly among Party members and the masses in the operating department.This integration enables the provision of high-quality and safe medical care and nursing for elderly patients,conveying compassion and dedication under the operating light.
