Predicament and Countermeasures of Medical Humanities Education from the Perspective of Curriculum Ideology and Politics:Taking Social Practice as the Breakthrough Point

Abstract：The construction of"grand ideological and political education"emphasizes the integration of theory and practice,systematic construction,and the strengthening of the ideological and political teaching faculty,charting the course for advancing ideological and political education.Medical colleges and universities often encounter practical challenges in promoting medical humanities education,including the weak integration of ideological and political theories with clinical practice,over-reliance on classroom-based teaching content,the absence of effective mechanisms for social practice,limitations of purely quantitative evaluation methods in assessing pedagogical effectiveness,insufficient medical contextual knowledge among specialized ideological-political teachers,and inadequate ideological-political competencies among clinical instructors.This article positions social practice as a pivotal driver for enhancing medical humanities education in ideological and political education reform.By proposing a"one-center,three-pillar"practical strategy-centered on an integrated practice-based education system and supported by three pillars:an evaluation index system for practice education,a collaborative teacher community for holistic education,and advanced educational technologies-the paper explores its significance and role in medical humanities education.This approach fully leverages the unique value of social practice in advancing medical education reform and cultivating medical talents,providing innovative perspectives and practical experiences for training high-quality medical professionals with both ethical integrity and professional excellence.
