Abstract:Objective To explore the effectiveness of the E-Warm model under a digitalized humanistic care approach in the whole-process pain management of cancer patients and to evaluate its differences compared with traditional methods in improving pain control, nutritional status, psychological well-being,and quality of life. Methods A prospective,open-label,randomized controlled trial was conducted, enrolling 105 advanced lung cancer patients divided into three groups:standard cancer pain treatment group(Group A),E-Warm model group(Group B),and the PROs E-Warm model group(Group C).Assessments included the numeric rating scale(NRS)for pain, the functional assessment of cancer therapy-lung(FACT-L)for quality of life, the hospital anxiety and depression scale(HADS)for psychological status, and the patient-generated subjective global assessment(PG-SGA)for nutritional status. Results NRS scores were significantly lower in Group C compared to Groups A and B(P<0.05),with Group B also lower than Group A(P<0.05).HADS scores indicated that both Groups B and C were lower than Group A(P<0.05).FACT-L scores showed that Group C had higher scores than Groups A and B(P<0.05).PG-SGA scores demonstrated that Group C performed significantly better than Groups A and B(P<0.05).Conclusion The E-Warm model under a digitalized humanistic care approach effectively improves pain management, psychological status, and quality of life in cancer patients, offering real-time,dynamic,and multidimensional advantages. However, broader clinical application requires further technological optimization.
