Abstract:Objective To explore the applicability of the Regulations on the Prevention and Handling of Medical Disputes among medical professionals in hospitals at different levels in Guangxi, and proposes recommendations for improving the medical dispute prevention and resolution mechanisms. Methods A combination of questionnaires and interviews was conducted with medical staff from healthcare institutions of varying levels in Guangxi.Exploratory factor analysis(EFA)was applied to reduce data dimensionality, extracting four common factors for assessing the applicability of the regulations:legal awareness, perception of doctor-patient relationships, dispute resolution mechanisms, and medical risk prevention.Chi-square tests were utilized for statistical analysis. Results Significant differences were observed in the applicability of the regulations among medical staff from hospitals of different levels. Conclusion Relevant authorities should strengthen the promotion and training of legal regulations across all levels of medical institutions, clarify legal responsibilities for both healthcare providers and patients, and enhance the promotion of medical risk-sharing mechanisms at the societal level.Additionally, efforts should be made to refine diversified medical dispute mediation mechanisms, collectively providing a robust legal framework to support the advancement of the Healthy China initiative.
