Abstract:Traditional Chinese medicine(TCM),as an important part of Chinese culture, has its humanistic spirit deeply rooted in moral concepts such as"benevolence, righteousness, propriety, wisdom, and faith"of Confucianism. It also integrates the ideas of conforming to nature in Taoism and the compassionate feelings of Buddhism, forming a unique medical ethics system.Medical ethics, excellent medical skills, and the responsibilities of medical practitioners constitute the core of the humanistic spirit of TCM.It has evolved continuously in thousands of years of medical practice and still holds significant value in modern medical models.Through literature research and case analysis, this paper explores the historical inheritance, modern reflection of the humanistic spirit of TCM,and its applicability in contemporary medical practice, with a focus on analyzing its roles and challenges in medical ethics construction,doctor-patient relationships, and the integration of technical ethics. The research finds that the humanistic spirit of TCM not only occupies a core position in traditional medical ethics but also provides important references in fields such as modern precision medicine, personalized treatment, and doctor-patient communication.Nevertheless,in the context of the rapid development of the modern medical system, how to balance technological innovation and medical ethics, and how to promote the rational application of the humanistic spirit of TCM in the global medical environment remain important topics worthy of in-depth exploration. This paper aims to stimulate the medical community's attention to traditional medical culture, promote the inheritance and innovation of the humanistic spirit of TCM in the contemporary medical system,so as to promote the coordinated development of medical humanistic care and scientific and technological progress, and contribute Chinese wisdom to the global health cause.
