Abstract：From its origins,literature has been closely intertwined with diseases.As a discipline concerned with the exploration of huaman conditions,literature takes examining individuals as its own responsibility,unable to avoid writing diseases.The history of literary development reveals that disease narrative has an ancient and long-standing tradition.Exploring the relationship between literature and diseases from an interdisciplinary perspective and decoding the portrayal of diseases in literature will provide new possibilities for enriching reading strategies and expanding the interpretive space of literature.At the same time,strengthening research on literature and diseases will also play an important role in promoting the development of medicine and improving human health.
