Abstract:Objective To explore the efficacy of Reduning combined with oseltamivir phosphate in children with influenza A.Methods A prospective controlled study design was adopted.A total of 109 pediatric patients with influenza A ad-mitted to Xuchang Central Hospital from January 2024 to February 2025 were selected and divided into the combination group(oseltamivir phosphate plus Reduning Injection,55 cases)and the control group(oseltamivir phosphate,54 cases)using a random number table method. The symptom relief time, inflammatory markers, negative conversion rate of viral nucleic acid, and incidence of adverse reactions were compared between the two groups. Results The total effective rate in the combination group was 96.36%(53/55),significantly higher than that in the control group(83.33%,45/54)(χ2=5.099,P<0.05).The time to disappearance of fever, cough, sore throat, and rhinorrhea in the combination group((2.81±0.56),(3.53±0.62),(3.62±0.59),(2.65±0.55)d,respectively)were all shorter than those in the control group((3.52±0.69),(4.71±0.73),(4.01±0.70),(3.14±0.81)d,respectively)(t=5.904,9.102,3.147,3.701,all P<0.05).The negative conversion rate of viral nucleic acid in the combination group was 90.91%(50/55),higher than that in the control group(75.93%,41/54)(χ2=4.437,P<0.05).After treatment, levels of white blood cell count, absolute neutrophil-to-lym-phocyte ratio,C-reactive protein, and interleukin-6 in the combination group((4.83±0.76)×109/L,(3.23±0.58),(8.15±1.72)mg/L,(1.05±0.23)pg/mL)were significantly lower than those in the control group((7.29±1.08)×109/L,(3.86±0.72),(10.96±2.84)mg/L,(1.72±0.45)pg/mL)(t=13.773,5.035,6.261,9.813,all P<0.05).The incidence of adverse reactions was 7.41%(4/54)in the control group and 10.91%(6/55)in the combination group, with no statistically significant difference(χ2=0.401,P>0.05).Conclusion The combination of Reduning and oseltamivir phosphate not only enhances clinical efficacy and shortens symp-tom duration in children with influenza A by limiting viral infection, but also further alleviates systemic inflammatory response and modulates immune function, with a favorable safety profile.
