Abstract:Objective To observe the repair effect of recombinant bovine basic fibroblast growth factor(rb-bFGF)combined with local oxygen therapy on residual wounds after deep burn skin grafting. Methods A total of 86 patients with residual wounds after deep burn skin grafting who were treated at the First Affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou University from March 2023 to March 2025 were selected and randomly divided into the observation group(n=43)and the control group(n=43)using a random number table method. The observation group was treated with rb-bFGF combined with local oxygen thera-py,while the control group was treated with rb-bFGF alone. The clinical efficacy,Numerical Rating Scale(NRS)pain scores,Bates-Jensen wound assessment scores, and adverse reactions were compared between the two groups. Results The effective rate of the observation group was 95.35%(41/43),higher than that of the control group(79.07%(34/43))(x2=5.108,P<0.05).The time effect, intergroup effect, and interaction effect of the NRS pain scores in both groups were statistically significant(Ftime=91.801,Fintergroup=20.268,Finteraction=3.285,all P<0.05).Moreover,the NRS pain scores in both groups decreased after 7 days and 14 days of treatment, with the observation group((4.26±1.27)and(3.47±1.07)points,respectively)consistently lower than those in the control group((5.54±1.36)and(4.34±1.16)points,respectively)(t=4.511,3.615,both P<0.05).The time ef-fect,intergroup effect, and interaction effect of the Bates-Jensen wound assessment scores in the two groups were statistically significant(Ftime=476.405,Fintergroup=14.197,Finteraction=3.532,all P<0.05).After 7 days and 14 days of treatment, the Bates-Jensen wound scores in both groups decreased, and the indicators in the observation group((2.34±0.54)points and(1.22±0.42)points,respectively)were lower than those in the control group((3.23±0.61)points and(2.15±0.56)points,respectively)(t=7.164,8.712,both P<0.05).The incidence of adverse reactions was 16.28%(7/43)in the control group and 11.63%(5/43)in the observation group, with no statistically significant difference between the two groups(x2=0.387,P>0.05).Conclusion The combination of rb-bFGF and local oxygen therapy demonstrates superior efficacy in repairing residual wounds after deep burn skin grafting,sig-nificantly alleviating patients' pain, promoting granulation tissue formation, while maintaining a favorable safety profile.
