Clinical evaluation of Weisu granules combined with lansoprazole in the treatment of chronic erosive gastritis

Abstract：Objective To explore the clinical efficacy and safety of Weisu granules combined with lansoprazole in the treatment of chronic erosive gastritis(CEG)(Liver-Qi Stomach Attack Pattern).Methods A total of 104 patients with CEG admitted to Nanjing Pukou People's Hospital from May 2023 to June 2025 were selected and divided into the observation group(52 cases,treated with Weisu granules combined with lansoprazole)and the control group(52 cases,treated with lanso-prazole alone)using a random number table method.Both groups received continuous treatment for 4 weeks.The clinical effi-cacy,levels of prostaglandin E2 and malondialdehyde before and after treatment,disappearance time of clinical symptoms,and incidence of adverse reactions were compared between the two groups.Results The effective rate in the observation group(90.38%(47/52))was significantly higher than that in the control group(75.00%(39/52))(χ2=4.300,P<0.05).After treatment,the level of prostaglandin E2 in the observation group((5.34±1.16)pg/mL)was higher than that in the control group((3.25±0.76)pg/mL),and the level of malondialdehyde in the observation group((1.45±0.27)μmol/L)was lower than that in the control group((2.15±0.88)μmol/L)(t=10.868,5.484,both P<0.05).The disappearance times of acid reflux,belching,and abdominal pain in the observation group were(9.86±2.55)d,(6.55±1.57)d,(10.28±2.79)d,respectively,shorter than those in the control group((12.57±3.18)d,(8.84±1.97)d,(12.86±3.05)d,respectively)(t=4.794,6.555,2.756,all P<0.05).The incidence of adverse reac-tions showed no statistically significant difference between the observation group(9.62%(5/52))and the control group(13.46%(7/52))(χ2=0.377,P=0.539).Conclusion The combination of Weisu granules and lansoprazole demonstrates excellent efficacy in treating CEG(Liver-Qi Stomach Attack Pattern).It effectively improves patients'clinical symptoms with a favorable safety profile.
