Application effect of estradiol valerate in assisting hysteroscopic surgery for patients with abnormal uterine bleeding

Abstract：Objective To explore the effect of estradiol valerate tablets in assisting hysteroscopic surgery for pa-tients with abnormal uterine bleeding(AUB).Methods A total of 80 patients with AUB admitted to Anqing Second People's Hospital from September 2021 to September 2024 were selected and randomly divided into the control group(hys-teroscopic surgery treatment)and the experimental group(estradiol valerate tablets assisted hysteroscopic surgery),with 40 cases in each group.The clinical indexes(hematocrit(Hct),hemoglobin(Hb),endometrial thickness(EMT)and menstrual blood volume),coagulation indexes(activated partial thromboplastin time(APTT),prothrombin time(PT),thrombin time(TT)),sex hormone indicators(estradiol(E2),luteinizing hormone(LH),follicle stimulating hormone(FSH)),clinical effica-cy and adverse reactions were compared between the two groups.Results Three months after operation,the levels of Hct and Hb of the experimental group were(29.93±3.97)%,(113.44±8.84)g/L,higher than(25.68±4.06)%,(100.86±10.33)g/L of the control group,and there were significant differences(t=4.734,5.852,both P<0.05).EMT and menstrual blood vol-ume of the experimental group were(3.21±0.48)mm,(78.42±6.37)mL,less than(6.52±0.87)mm,(120.33±9.87)mL of the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(t=21.068,22.564,both P<0.05).Three months after operation,APTT,PT and TT of the experimental group were(26.35±2.58)s,(9.34±1.06)s and(15.22±2.47)s,shorter than(28.21±2.33)s,(10.07±1.13)s,(16.78±2.33)s of the control group,and there were significant differences(t=3.384,2.980,2.906,all P<0.05).Three months after operation,the levels of serum E2,LH and FSH of the experimental group were(208.67±10.44)pmol/L,(8.22±1.87)U/L,(10.17±1.56)U/L,lower than(310.56±11.93)pmol/L,(10.31±2.48)U/L,(13.22±2.38)U/L of the control group(t=40.649,4.256,6.779,all P<0.05).The total effective rate of the experimental group was 100.00%(40/40),higher than 87.50%(35/40)of the control group(χ2=5.333,P<0.05).The incidence of adverse reactions of the experimental group was 2.50%(1/40),lower than 15.00%(6/40)of the control group(χ2=3.914,P<0.05).Conclusion Estradiol valerate tab-lets assisting hysteroscopic surgery can effectively enhance the coagulation function,improve the level of sex hormones in AUB patients,and demonstrate good clinical efficacy and high safety.
