Abstract:Objective To explore the efficacy of bevacizumab as an adjuvant to Taxane-Platinum(TP)regimen in the treatment of patients with triple-negative breast cancer. Methods A total of 104 patients with triple-negative breast cancer after surgery admitted to Tianjin Cancer Hospital Qinhuangdao Hospital from January 2021 to December 2024 were randomly divided into two groups according to the random number table method.52 patients in the control group received TP chemo-therapy regimen, and 52 patients in the observation group received bevacizumab as an adjuvant to TP regimen. The efficacy, immune function, tumor marker levels and adverse reactions were compared between the control group and the observation group. Results The total effective rate of the observation group was 80.77%(42/52),higher than that of the control group(59.62%(31/52))(χ2=5.561,P<0.05).After treatment, serum levels of carbohydrate antigen 125,carbohydrate antigen 153 and carcinoembryonic antigen(CEA)in both groups were significantly lower than those pre-treatment,and the levels of the above indicators in the observation group((12.11±2.98)U/mL,(17.58±3.01)U/mL,(10.34±2.56)ng/mL,respectively)were lower than those in the control group((17.21±3.67)U/mL,(22.24±3.26)U/mL,(13.54±2.01)ng/mL,respectively)(t=7.779,7.573,7.090,all P<0.05).After treatment, the CD4+levels in the control group and the observation group were higher than pre-treat-ment values, and the CD4+level in the observation group((38.78±2.87)%)was significantly higher than that in the control group((34.11±2.67)%)(t=8.591,P<0.05).However,the levels of CD3+and CD8+were lower than those before treatment, and the levels of CD3+and CD8+in the observation group((58.49±4.02)%,(24.65±2.39)%,respectively)were lower than those in the control group((62.17±3.87)%,(28.14±2.43)%,respectively)(t=4.756,7.348,both P<0.05).There was no statistically significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the observation group and the control group(36.54%(19/52)vs 40.38%(21/52))(χ2=0.163,P>0.05).Conclusion The combination of bevacizumab with the TP regimen has a higher effective rate in the treatment of triple-negative breast cancer patients than the TP regimen alone. It can promote the decline of tumor indicators, improve immune function indicators, and demonstrate relatively high safety.
