Abstract:Objective To investigate the clinical efficacy of vericiguat combined with ivabradine in patients with chronic heart failure(CHF).Methods A total of 76 patients with CHF admitted to the Department of Cardiology, the Seventh People's Hospital of Zhengzhou from December 2022 to December 2024 were divided into the control group(n=38,treated with ivabradine and standardized basic medication)and the observation group(n=38,treated with vericiguat, ivabradine and standardized basic medication)using the random number table method. After 4 weeks of treatment, the clinical efficacy, cardiac function, inflammatory indicators and adverse reaction rates were compared between the two groups. Results The effective rate of the observation group was 92.11%(35/38),high-er than 73.68%(28/38)of the control group(χ2=4.547,P<0.05).After treatment, the left ventricular ejection fraction increased in both groups, and the observation group((45.69±4.33)%)was higher than that in the control group((40.37±3.52)%)(t=5.887,P<0.05).After treatment, the end-diastolic and end-systolic diameters of the left ventricular decreased in both groups, and the indicators of the obser-vation group((51.12±4.28)mm and(38.55±3.32)mm,respectively)were smaller than those of the control group((56.97±5.41)mm and(41.31±4.32)mm,respectively)(t=5.228,3.123,both P<0.05).After treatment, the levels of high-sensitivity C-reactive protein, tumor necrosis factor-α,and interleukin-6 in both groups decreased, and the indicators of the observation group((9.69±2.43)mg·L-1,(10.24±2.48)ng·L-1 and(37.54±7.11)ng·L-1,respectively)were lower than those in the control group((11.37±2.71)mg·L-1,(12.17±3.71)ng·L-1 and(41.21±7.41)ng·L-1,respectively)(t=2.845,2.666,2.203,all P<0.05).The incidence of adverse reactions was 13.16%(5/38)in the observation group and 5.26%(2/38)in the control group, with no statistically significant difference(χ2=0.560,P>0.05).Conclusion The combination of vericiguat and ivabradine demonstrates a remarkable therapeutic effect on CHF,effectively improv-ing the cardiac function and inflammatory markers in CHF patients with a favorable safety profile.
