Abstract:Objective To investigate the effects of naloxone combined with edaravone on consciousness recovery and cerebral tissue oxygenation in patients with post-cardiac arrest syndrome(PCAS).Methods A total of 96 patients with PCAS who were treated in the Longhai Campus of Luoyang First People's Hospital from January 2023 to December 2024 were selected and divided into a control group and an observation group according to the random number table method. The control group was treated with eda-ravone,while the observation group received additional naloxone treatment based on the control group's regimen. Both groups un-derwent continuous treatment for 7 days. The total effective rate, serological indicator levels before and after treatment, coma status and the incidence of adverse reactions in both groups were observed. Results The total effective rate in the observation group was 95.83%(46/48),higher than that of the control group(81.25%(39/48))(χ2=5.031,P<0.05).The Glasgow Coma Scale scores in the observation group after 1,3,and 7 days of medication((5.42±0.74)points,(7.72±0.65)points and(9.39±1.67)points)were all higher than those in the control group((4.90±0.85)points,(6.86±0.75)points and(8.45±1.95)points)(t=3.197,6.003,2.537,all P<0.05).After medication, both groups showed increased central venous oxygen saturation and oxygen delivery levels, and these indicators in the observation group((104.00±29.85)mmHg(1 mmHg≈0.133 kPa),(558.86±56.87)mL·(min·m2)-1)were higher than those in the control group((85.56±26.57)mmHg,(530.95±48.63)mL·(min·m2)-1)(t=3.197,2.584,both P<0.05).Post-treatment blood lactate and beta-endorphin levels decreased in both groups, with the observation group((1.89±0.82)mmol·L-1 and(0.11±0.03)pg·mL-1)showing lower levels than the control group((2.26±0.69)mmol·L-1 and(0.16±0.04)pg·mL-1)(t=2.392,6.928,both P<0.05).The incidence of adverse reactions in the observation group(6.25%,3/48)showed no statistically significant difference compared with the control group(4.17%,2/48)(χ2=0.000,P>0.05).Conclusion Naloxone combined with edaravone can effectively improve cerebral oxy-genation function, promote the recovery of consciousness in patients with PCAS,and has high safety.
