Abstract:Objective To investigate the effects of diammonium glycyrrhizinate combined with tenofovir amibufenamide on liver function and inflammatory factor levels in elderly patients with hepatitis B cirrhosis(HBC).Methods A total of 123 elderly patients with HBC treated in the People's Hospital of Rugao from September 2022 to September 2024 were enrolled retrospectively in this study.According to different treatment options, these patients were divided into the control group(n=58,routine interventions such as anti-fibrosis and hepatoprotection+tenofovir amibufenamide)and the observation group(n=65,routine interventions such as anti-fibrosis and hepatoprotection+diammonium glycyrrhizinate combined with tenofovir amibufenamide). All patients were contin-uously treated for six months. The clinical efficacy, the inflammatory factor indexes(interleukin-6(IL-6),C-reactive protein(CRP),tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α)),liver function indexes(aspartate aminotransferase(AST),alanine aminotransferase(ALT))and liver fibrosis indexes(laminin(LN),hyaluronic acid(HA),type Ⅳ collagen(Ⅳ-C),type Ⅲ procollagen(PC-Ⅲ))before and after treatment,as well as the incidence of adverse reactions were compared between the two groups. Results The overall effective rate in the observation group was 87.69%(57/65),higher than 70.69%(41/58)in the control group(χ2=5.472,P=0.019).After treatment, the levels of CRP,IL-6 and TNF-α in the observation group((8.89±2.82)mg·L-1,(10.09±2.37)mg·L-1 and(21.54±4.26)mg·L-1,respectively)were lower than those in the control group((10.26±2.69)mg·L-1,(12.15±2.16)mg·L-1 and(29.54±5.12)mg·L-¹,respectively)(t=2.749,5.016,9.454,all P<0.05).After treatment, the levels of ALT and AST in the observation group((59.26±6.69)U·L-1 and(54.09±5.07)U·L-1)were lower than those in the control group((65.84±2.98)U·L-1 and(59.15±4.96)U·L-1)(t=6.902,5.582,both P<0.05).After treatment, the levels of HA,LN,PC-Ⅲ and Ⅳ-C in the observation group((88.26±6.69)ng·mL-1,(74.26±7.19)ng·mL-1,(72.93±10.63)ng·mL-1 and(52.45±6.78)ng·mL-1,respectively)were lower than those in the control group((97.84±8.98)ng·mL-1,(84.84±6.54)ng·mL-1,(87.48±12.24)ng·mL-1 and(59.84±7.68)ng·mL-1,respectively)(t=6.754,8.500,7.056,5.668,all P<0.05).The incidence of adverse reactions was 26.15%(17/65)in the observation group and 29.31%(17/58)in the control group, and there was no statistically significant difference(χ2=0.153,P=0.696).Conclusion The combination of diam-monium glycyrrhizinate and tenofovir amibufenamide shows significant efficacy in treating elderly patients with HBC.It can effectively inhibit inflammatory responses, improve liver function and slow the progression of disease, demonstrating favorable safety profile.
