Clinical evaluation of flupentixol and melitracen combined with mosapride in the treatment of patients with refractory gastroesophageal reflux disease

Abstract：Objective To investigate the clinical evaluation of flupentixol and melitracen combined with mosapride in the treat-ment of proton pump inhibitor(PPI)-refractory gastroesophageal reflux disease(GERD).Methods According to the random number table method,a total of 92 patients with PPI-refractory GERD admitted to Nanyang Central Hospital from January 2023 to Decem-ber 2024 were divided into a control group and a combination group,with 46 cases in each group.Patients in the control group were treated with mosapride,while patients in the combination group were treated with flupentixol and melitracen in addition of the control group's therapeutic regimen.Both groups underwent continuous treatment for 4 weeks.The clinical efficacy,psychological status,symptom frequency scale scores,gastrointestinal hormone levels and the occurrence of adverse reactions were observed and compared between the two groups.Results The total effective rate of the combination group(89.13%(41/46))was higher than that of the con-trol group(71.74%(33/46))(χ2=4.420,P=0.036).After treatment,the Hamilton Anxiety Scale score and Hamilton Depression Scale score of the combination group((7.54±0.21)points,(7.16±0.63)points,respectively)were both lower than those of the control group((14.27±1.31)points,(15.43±1.33)points,respectively)(t=34.404,38.113,both P<0.05).After treatment,the scores of reflux symptom and motor dysfunction symptom,and total score of the combination group((6.87±0.63)points,(8.20±0.89)points,(15.07±0.85)points,respectively)were all lower than those of the control group((8.46±1.10)points,(10.26±1.36)points,(18.72±1.70)points,respectively)(t=8.507,8.596,13.025,all P<0.05).After treatment,the motilin and gastrin levels of the combination group((290.21±18.68)ng·L-1,(154.23±11.52)ng·L-1,respectively)were both higher than those of the control group((261.62±17.58)ng·L-1,(131.20±10.11)ng·L-1,respectively)(t=7.559,10.191,both P<0.05),while the vasoactive intestinal peptide level of the combination group((16.62±2.35)pg·mL-1)was lower than that of the control group((20.75±3.21)pg·mL-1)(t=7.041,P<0.05).There was no statistically signif-icant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(17.39%(8/46)vs 8.70%(4/46),χ2=1.533,P>0.05).Conclusion The application of flupentixol and melitracen combined with mosapride in the treatment of patients with PPI-refractory GERD can enhance clinical efficacy,improve gastrointestinal hormone levels,alleviate anxiety and tension,and has good safety.
