The clinical efficacy of the Yangyin Jiedu Formula combined with anlotinib in the treatment of advanced non-small cell lung cancer

Abstract：Objective To explore the clinical effect of Yangyin Jiedu Formula combined with anlotinib in the treatment of advanced non-small cell lung cancer.Methods A total of 100 patients with advanced non-small cell lung cancer who were diag-nosed and treated at Affiliated Hospital of Nantong University from January 2020 to January 2022 were selected and divided into two groups by the envelope method.The control group(50 cases)was treated with anlotinib combined with navelbine and cisplatin(NP)chemotherapy,while the observation group(50 cases)was treated with Yangyin Jiedu Formula combined with anlotinib and NP che-motherapy.The objective therapeutic effects,physical functional status,chemotherapy adverse reaction scores and cancer pain scores of the two groups were compared,as well as the changes of carbohydrate antigen 125(CA125),carcinoembryonic antigen(CEA),cyclooxygenase-2(COX-2),total score of traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)syndrome and the medical outcomes study item short from health survey(SF-36)before and after treatment.Results After treatment,the objective therapeutic effect of the observa-tion group(84.00% )was higher than that of the control group(64.00% )(χ2=5.198,P=0.023),and the total effective rate of physical functional status of the patients in the observation group(96.00% )was higher than that in the control group(84.00% )(χ2=4.000,P=0.046).The scores of chemotherapy adverse reactions and cancer pain in the observation group((5.82±0.39)points and(3.05±0.52)points,respectively)were both lower than those in the control group((6.97±0.52)points and(4.23±0.35)points)(t=12.510,13.311,both P<0.05).After treatment,the levels of CEA,CA 125,COX-2 and the total scores of TCM syndrome in the observa-tion group((55.62±5.85)μg·L-1,(18.65±2.93)IU·mL-1,(53.65±5.12)ng·mL-1,(4.95±0.95)points,respectively)were all lower than those in the control group((74.23±6.23)μg·L-1,(25.45±3.12)IU·mL-1,(65.45±4.21)ng·mL-1,(7.63±1.00)points)(t=15.398,11.234,11.521,13.739,all P<0.05).After treatment,the SF-36 score of the patients in the observation group was(75.62±4.42)points,which was higher than that of the control group((69.73±3.92)points)(t=7.050,P<0.05).Conclusion The treatment of Yangyin Jiedu Formula combined with anlotinib and NP chemotherapy regimen on advanced non-small cell lung cancer has a remarkable effect.It can improve patients'symptoms and physical functional status,reduce the adverse reactions of chemotherapy,relieve cancer pain,lower the levels of tumor markers,and improve patients'quality of life.
