Abstract:Objective To explore the improvement effect of edaravone dexborneol combined with alprostadil on the therapeutic effect of intravenous thrombolysis in acute ischemic stroke. Methods A total of 96 patients with acute ischemic stroke who received intravenous thrombolytic therapy at the First Affiliated Hospital of Henan University of Science and Technology from January 2024 to December 2024 were divided into the experimental group and the control group according to the random number table method, with 48 cases in each group. The control group received edaravone dexborneol treatment, while the experimental group received alprostadil injection in addition to the treatment given to the control group. Both groups were treated for 14 days. The clinical efficacy,cerebrovascu-lar recanalization and the occurrence of adverse reactions after treatment as well as the levels of serum high-sensitivity C-reactive pro-tein,tumor necrosis factor-alpha,interleukin-6,National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale scores,Activities of Daily Living scale scores, and the rate of favorable prognosis before and after treatment were compared between the two groups. Results The total effective rate and the vascular recanalization rate at 24 hours post-thrombolysis in the experimental group were 93.75% (45/48)and 85.42% (41/48)respectively,both higher than those in the control group(79.17% (38/48)and 66.67% (32/48)),and the differences were statistically significant(χ2=4.360,t=4.631,P=0.037,0.031).After treatment, the levels of serum high-sensitivity C-reactive protein, tumor necrosis factor-α,and interleukin-6 in the experimental group((5.96±1.65)mg·L-1,(1.02±0.15)ng·L-1,(34.10±7.29)pg·mL-1,respectively)were lower than those in the control group((8.16±2.34)mg·L-1,(1.84±0.46)ng·L-1,(40.56±9.10)pg·mL-1,respectively),and the differences were statistically significant(t=5.323,11.742,3.838,all P<0.05).After treatment, the National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale score of the patients in the experimental group((1.71±0.39)points)was lower than that of the control group((2.14±0.31)points),and the difference was statistically significant(t=5.980,P<0.05).The scores of Activities of Daily Living scale and the rate of favorable prog-nosis((81.14±4.15)points,95.83%,respectively)were higher than those of the control group((73.21±3.26)points,77.08%,respec-tively),and the differences were statistically significant(t=10.411,7.207,both P<0.05).The incidence of adverse reactions in the control group and the experimental group(10.42% (5/48)vs 16.67% (8/48))showed no statistically significant difference(χ2=0.801,P=0.371).Conclusion The application of edaravone dexborneol combined with alprostadil in the treatment of acute ischemic stroke can increase the rate of vascular recanalization after thrombolysis, reduce inflammatory responses and neural damage, improve life ability, and demonstrate good safety.
