Effect of Baofukang suppository combined with chlorquinaldol promestriene vaginal tablets on patients with cervical intraepithelial neoplasia after surgery

Abstract：Objective To observe the effect of Baofukang suppository combined with chlorquinaldol promestriene vagi-nal tablets(CP)on patients with cervical intraepithelial neoplasia(CIN)after loop electrosurgical excision procedure(LEEP).Methods A total of 68 CIN patients who received LEEP at the Yibin Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital from January 2022 to May 2024 were recruited as the research subjects and randomly divided into the combined group and the control group,with 34 cases in each group.The control group was given Baofukang suppository from the second day after surgery and the combined group was given CP on the basis of the control group,avoiding menstrual administration,and both groups took the medicine continuously for 3 months.After the treatment,all patients were followed up for 3 months,and the clinical efficacy of the patients 6 months after surgery and the rate of high-risk human papillomavirus(HR-HPV)conversion were recorded.The levels of tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α),interleukin-6(IL-6),CD4 positive T lymphocytes(CD4+T),CD8 positive T lymphocytes(CD8+T)and CD4+/CD8+were recorded before the treatment and after the treatment for 3 months.The incidence rates of postoperative complications such as cervical canal stenosis,wound hemorrhage,cervical oral adhesion and wound infection were observed during the treatment period.Results The total clinical effective rate and the HR-HPV conversion rate of the combined group were 94.12%and 97.06%,respectively,high-er than 73.53%and 76.47%of the control group(χ2=5.314,4.610,P<0.05).The levels of TNF-α,IL-6 and CD8+of the combined group were respectively(24.29±4.27)pg·mL-1,(29.53±3.28)pg·mL-1 and(20.37±3.28)%after the treatment,lower than(35.63±5.36)pg·mL-1,(37.69±4.15)pg·mL-1 and(24.43±3.61)%of the control group(t=9.649,8.995,4.854,all P<0.05);the levels of CD4+and CD4+/CD8+of the combined group were respectively(39.84±6.24)%and(1.96±0.87),higher than(34.72±5.93)%and(1.42±0.62)of the control group(t=3.468,2.947,all P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the incidence of postoperative complications between the combined group(8.82%)and the control group(17.65%)(χ2=0.512,P>0.05).Conclusion Baofukang suppository combined with CP for CIN patients can improve the clinical efficacy after LEEP,effectively remove HPV,reduce inflammation level,and enhance immune function,but it can not reduce the risk of postoperative complications.
