Abstract:Objective To investigate the efficacy of remimazolam and ciprofol in intravenous anesthesia for patients un-dergoing surgery for breast lumps. Methods A total of 150 patients who underwent surgery for breast lumps in Jiaxing First Hospital from December 2022 to April 2023 were selected as the research subjects and divided into remimazolam group,cip-rofol group and propofol group by random number table method, with 50 in each group. The three groups were compared in terms of eyelash reflex disappearance time,eye-opening time,wake-up time, length of post-anesthesia care unit(PACU)stay, and postoperative 24-h visual analog pain scale(VAS)score.Heart rate(HR),blood oxygen saturation(SPO2),mean arteri-al pressure(MAP),respiratory rate(RR)reduction and the occurrence of apnea in the three groups were assessed at the time of entering the room(T0),after 1 min of anesthesia induction(T1),after 3 min of anesthesia induction(T2)and after 5 min of anesthesia induction(T3).The incidence of perioperative adverse reactions to anesthesia such as injection pain, respiratory depression, hypotension, nausea and vomiting, and emergence agitation in the three groups were calculated. Results Eye-lash reflex disappearance time in the three groups was(2.04±0.53)min,(2.10±0.58)min and(2.24±0.56)min.Postopera-tive 24 h VAS scores were(2.03±0.72),(2.24±0.77)and(2.39±0.81)points.The differences among the three groups were not statistically significant(F=1.700,2.819,both P>0.05).Eye-opening time of the remimazolam group and the ciprofol group was(2.74±0.85)min and(3.00±1.03)min.Wake-up time was(4.58±1.39)min and(5.00±1.54)min.PACU stay was(0.24±0.07)h and(0.28±0.08)h.All were shorter than those of the propofol group((5.52±1.42)min,(6.16±1.72)min and(0.37±0.11)h)(t=93.118,13.870,26.139,all P<0.05).From T1 to T3,HR,MAP and SPO2 of the three groups were reduced. However,HR,MAP and SPO2 of the remimazolam group and the ciprofol group were higher than those of the propofol group(Fin-tergroup,time,interaction=66.483,54.513,16.051,27.240,19.423,52.420,7.665,7.557,8.159,3.457,3.359,4.725,all P<0.05).The differences in HR,MAP and SPO2 between the remimazolam group and the ciprofol group were not statistically significant(P>0.05).During the perioperative period, the incidence of adverse reactions in the remimazolam group(2.00%(1/50))was significantly lower than that in the ciprofol group and the propofol group(14.00%(7/50)and 42.00%(21/50))(χ2=27.016,P<0.05).Conclusion Both remimazolam and ciprofol injection can be used for intravenous anesthesia in patients undergoing surgery for breast lumps. Both of them have little influence on hemodynamics. However, remimazolam is safer than ciprofol.
