Abstract:Objective To analyze the clinical therapeutic effect of metoprolol sustained-release tablets combined with le-vamlodipine on hypertension associated with coronary heart disease to provide a reference for the combined efficacy of western medicine. Methods A total of 194 hypertensive patients with coronary heart disease admitted to Yibin First People's Hospital from April 2022 to May 2024 were selected and divided into a control group and a combination group using a random number table method, with 97 in each group. The patients in the control group received treatment with levoamlodipine, while those in the combi-nation therapy group received metoprolol sustained-release tablets based on the regimen in the control group. The clinical efficacy, systolic blood pressure(SBP),diastolic blood pressure(DBP),left ventricular ejection fraction(LVEF),left ventricular end systolic diameter(LVESD),left ventricular end diastolic diameter(LVEDD),serum creatinine(CRE),urea nitrogen(Urea),cystatin C(CysC)levels before and after treatment and the occurrence of adverse reactions after treatment were compared between the two groups. Results The total effective rate of the combination group was 80.41%(78/97),which was significantly higher than 65.98%(64/97)in the control group(χ2=5.150,P<0.05).After treatment, the SBP in the combination group was(130.78±2.29)mm Hg(1 mm Hg≈0.133 kPa),which was lower than(134.60±2.51)mm Hg in the control group(t=11.073,P<0.05).The DBP in the com-bination group was(80.49±3.02)mm Hg,which was lower than(85.81±2.63)mm Hg in the control group(t=13.084,P<0.05).The LVEF,LVEDD and LVESD in the combination therapy group((57.48±6.78)%,(46.52±4.53)mm,(33.51±4.14)mm)were all better than those in the control group((51.42±6.23)%,(53.43±5.14)mm,(38.42±4.23)mm)(t=6.482,7.050,8.170,all P<0.001).CRE,Urea and CysC in the combination group((76.77±5.36)μmol·L-1,(5.35±0.71)mmol·L-1,(1.77±0.32)mg·L-1)were all low-er than those in the control group((82.42±6.21)μmol·L-1,(6.24±0.94)mmol·L-1,(2.08±0.26)mg·L-1)(t=6.783,7.441,7.405,all P<0.001).In the control group, adverse reactions occurred in 43.30%of patients(42/97),while the combination group experi-enced them in 38.14%(37/97).A chi-square test indicated that this difference was not statistically significant(χ2=0.534,P>0.05).Conclusion The combination of metoprolol with levamlodipine has significant therapeutic effects and good safety in the treat-ment of hypertension with coronary heart disease.
