Abstract:Objective To analyze the therapeutic efficacy of intravitreal injection of compaqip in patients with diabetic retinop-athy and observe the changes of ocular hemorheology indexes. Methods A total of 72 patients with diabetic retinopathy admitted to Zigong First People's Hospital from July 2020 to July 2021 were included in this study. They were divided into two groups by digital random table method. The patients in the control group (n=36) were given intravitreal injection of triamcinolone acetonide while those in the study group (n=36) intravitreal injection of compaqip. The best corrected visual acuity (BCVA) was examined by standard visual acuity chart. Retinal thickness was determined by optical coherence tomography. The hemodynamics indexes of pos-terior ciliary artery were recorded. The treatment effect and quality of life were evaluated in both groups. Results After treatment, the BCVA and retinal thickness of the two groups were lower than before ((0.24±0.09),(0.11±0.06),(341.52±68.36) μm,(259.36±75.14) μm,respectively),and the BCVA and the retinal thickness of the study group were significantly lower than those of the control (P<0.05). The peak systolic velocity (PSV) and end-diastolic velocity (EDV) in both groups were higher after than before treatment ((7.52±0.74) cm·s-1,(8.51±0.86) cm·s-1,(2.61±0.27) cm·s-1,and (2.89±0.31) cm·s-1 respectively, after treatment but (4.86±0.57) cm·s-1,(4.82±0.63) cm·s-1,(1.82±0.15) cm·s-1,and (1.81±0.19) cm·s-1 before treatment). Additionally, the resistance index (RI) decreased after treatment ( (0.77±0.07) and (0.70±0.06) respectively) as compared with that before treatment ((0.90±0.08) and (0.91±0.10) respectively). The PSV and EDV in the study group were higher than those in the control after treatment, while the RI was lower. These differences were statistically significant (all P<0.05). The scores of health activity,self-care,psychology,and social interaction in the study group were higher than those in the control group ((71.39±5.12) points,(79.48±5.83) points,(54.69±6.86) points, and (71.25±9.74) points, respectively),showing statistically significant difference (P<0.05). The total incidence of complications in the control group was 27.78% (10/36),which was higher than that of 5.56% (2/36) in the study group, and the difference was sta-tistically significant (x2=4.900,P=0.027). Conclusion The intravitreal injection of compaqip in patients with diabetic retina can obvious improve vision and hemodynamic indexes of the posterior ciliary artery, reduce complications and enhance quality of life. Therefore,it is worthy of more application.
