Abstract:Objective To explore the efficacy and safety of indobufen combined with nicorandil in the treatment of unstable angina pectoris (UAP) with high bleeding risk. Methods A toal of 82 UAP patients with high bleeding risk admitted to Yuncheng Central Hospital from January 2023 to April 2024 were retrospectively selected and divided into the control group (n=41) and combi-nation group (n=41) according to treatment methods. In addition to conventional treatment, the patients in the control group received oral administration of aspirin tablets and those in the combination group received that of indobufen tablets combined with nicorandil tablets. The clinical efficacy, fibrinogen (FIB) content, platelet aggregation rate (PAG) and vascular endothelial injury indicators were compared between the two groups. Furthermore, the incidence of adverse reactions were recorded. Results After treat-ment,the total effective rate was higher in the combination group than in the control (95.12%(39/41) vs 78.05% (32/41),x2=5.145,P<0.05). The FIB content,PAG and serum homocysteine (Hcy) levels in both groups were lower after than before treatment, and they were lower in the combination group ((2.53±0.46) g·L-1,(31.75±4.08)%,(18.12±3.81) mmol·L-1) than in the control ((3.47±0.69) g·L-1,(36.24±4.83)%,(20.56±4.25) mmol·L-1) (t=7.258,4.547,2.737,all P<0.05). The serum nitric oxide (NO) levels in both groups were higher after than before treatment, and they were higher in the combination group ((141.26±14.38) μmol·L-1) than in the control ((103.48±11.67) μmol·L-1) (t=13.062,P<0.05). There was no significant difference in the incidence of bleeding events be-tween the two groups (2.44%,1/41 vs 9.76%,4/41) (x2=1.917,P>0.05). Conclusion Indobufen combined with nicorandil has bet-ter clinical efficacy in the treatment of unstable angina with high bleeding risk since it can effectively improve patients'coagulation function and vascular damage but does not increase the incidence of bleeding events.
