Literature analysis of adverse cardiovascular reactions induced by anlotinib

Abstract:Objective To analyze the occurrence and clinical characteristics of adverse drug reactions(ADRs)of cardiovascular system induced by anlotinib,and provide reference for clinical safe drug use.Methods Case reports of cardiovascular ADR induced by anlotinib in Wanfang database,China national knowledge infrastructure(CNKI),VIP database,Pubmed,Web of Science and Embase databases from August 2018 to May 2022 were retrieved and statistically analyzed after screening.Results A total of 20 case reports,20 patients were collected,including 9 males(45%)and 11 females(55%)mostly aged from 50 to 69 years old.Cardiovascular ADRs mostly occurred in 7-90 days after administration and hypertension was the most common.Cardiovascular ADRs unmentioned in the label were also involved including aortic dissection,reversible posterior white matter encephalopathy syndrome,hypertensive retinopathy,etc.Conclusion During clinical use of anlotinib,it is suggested to strengthen monitoring,being alert of cardiovascular ADR especially hypertension,timely identify complications,thus to ensure the safety drug use.
