Abstract:Objective:To investigate the effect of disumab on osteoporotic compression fracture after vertebroplasty to explore an effective and safe treatment method for patients. Methods:A total of 82 patients with osteoporotic compression fracture were randomized into the control group and observation group, with 41 in each group. The patients in the control group received spondyloplasty alone, and those in the the observation group desumab treatment after spondyloplasty. The data were observed in each group. Results:Three months after the treatment, the level of N-terminal propeptide of type 1precollagen(P1NP)was(37.65±3.26)ng·mL-1 and that of type Ⅰ collagen hydroxyl-terminated peptide degradation product(β-CTx)was(0.31±0.04)ng·mL-1,which were significantly lower than those in the control group(60.23±2.66)ng·mL-1 and(0.49±0.05)ng.mL-1,respectively,(P<0.05).The adverse reaction rate of the observation group(2.44%)was similar to that of the control group(7.32%)(P>0.05).The recurrence rate of fracture 1 year after operation in the observation group was lower than that in the control(9.76%)(P<0.05).Conclusion:The application of desumab after vertebroplasty can better promote the recovery of patients with osteoporotic compression fracture, improve the bone metabolism of patients, and better prevent postoperative fracture recurrence. So it is relatively safe and reliable.
