Effect of Tigrelor combined with enhanced external counterpulsation on cardiac function and quality of life in patients with unstable angina pectoris

Abstract：Objective:To investigate the effects of Tigrelor combined with enhanced external counterpulsation on cardiac function and quality of life in patients with unstable angina pectoris.Methods:A total of 100 patients with unstable angina treated in our hospital from May 2021 to July 2022 were selected and divided into control group and observation group according to random number table method,with 50 cases in each group.The control group was treated with ticagrelor,the observation group was treated with enhanced external counterpulsation on the basis of control group.After 2 month of treatment,the number and time of myocardial ischemia before and after treatment were measured by electrocardiogram,left ventricular ejection fraction(LVEF),left ventricular end-systolic diameter(LVESD)and left ventricular end-diastolic diameter(LVEDD),the self-rating anxiety scale(SAS)and self-rating depression scale(SDS)assessed patients'negative emotions.Seattle angina question-naire(SAQ)was used to assess patients'quality of life and observed the occurrence of adverse reactions in the two groups during treatment.Results:After treatment,number of of patients with myocardial ischemia[(3.06±0.31),(2.04±0.20)]and ischemic time[(6.34±2.04),(4.18±1.32)min]were reduced than that before treatment in both groups[(4.58±1.01),(4.30±1.11)],[(10.48±2.51),(10.76±2.23m in)],and the observation group was lower than the control group(P<0.05).After treatment,LVEF in control group and observation group[(45.68±5.22),(48.14±5.22)%]was higher than that before treatment[(39.84±4.72),(39.98±4.20)%],and observation group was higher than control group(P<0.05).After treatment,the LVESD[(40.74±3.14),(37.64±3.90)mm]and LVEDD[(48.66±4.58),(44.72±4.10)mm]were decreased than that before treatment[(46.80±3.41),(47.34±3.54)mm],[(53.84±5.57),(54.16±5.34)mm]which was lower in the observation group than in the control group(P<0.05).After treatment,the SDS[(42.12±4.61),(36.48±4.70)points]and SAS[(40.58±4.04),(35.26±4.62)points]were decreased than that before treatment[(55.94±5.10),(55.78±5.03)points]and[(52.78±4.23),(52.88±4.13)points],and the observation group was lower than the control group(P<0.05).After treatment,the SAQ scores of control group and observation group[(86.30±9.05),(95.24±9.86)]were higher than those before treatment[(62.88±7.42),(63.92±7.47)],and the observation group was higher than the control group(P<0.05).There were no adverse reactions during treatment in both groups.Conclusion:Ticagrelor combined with enhanced external counterpulsation can effectively reduce the number of myocardial ischemia in patients with unstable angina pectoris,shorten the ischemic time,improve cardiac function,relieve anxiety and depression,and improve the quality of life of patients.
