Abstract:One 54-year-old male patient was admitted to hospital for hepatitis C cirrhosis complicated by ascites and abdominal distention. Clinical diagnosis is hepatitis C cirrhosis with decompensation and ascites. The patient had no previous history of kidney disease. After admission, the urine protein was positive, and the nephrologist considered hepatitis C-associated nephritis. It is recommended to treat losartan potassium tablets. On the 2rdday of treatment, the patient suddenly had no urine, and the creatinine and uric acid were increased before the examination. There was no obvious abnormality in the renal color Doppler ultrasound examination. Clinical pharmacists analyzed that the patient's urinary symptoms were associated with adverse reactions caused by the use of losartan potassium tablets, and it is recommended to discontinue the drug. After the attending physician stopped the drug, rehydration, diuretic treatment, the patient's urine volume gradually recovered, and the patient was discharged in stable condition.
