Analysis of adjuvant drugs during January 2017 to June 2017 in our hospital

Abstract:Objective: To analyze the utilization of the top 15 adjuvant drugs in our hospital in order to provide references for reinforcing the supervision and management of adjuvant drugs. Methods: Computer drug information management system was used to sort adjuvant drugs in terms of consumption and usage amount. And the medical orders of the top 15 adjuvant drugs were analyzed according to indication, dose, usage and combined medication. Results: Among all the drugs used in our hospital, the ratio of consumption amount of the top 15 adjuvant drugs was 18.92%, which was relatively higher than expectation. The ratio of unreasonable medical orders of adjuvant drugs was 22.00%. Adjuvant drugs were mainly unrationally used with inappropriate indication, repeated medication and optional replacement. Conclusion: The adjuvant drugs were used obviously irrationally in our hospital. Effective measures need to be taken to enforce the supervision of the adjuvant drugs.
