Analysis of irrational use of three kinds of antiasthmatic drugs in our hospital

Abstract:Objective:To investigate the clinical use of salbutamol injection,terbutaline injection and chuankezhi injection in our hospital. Methods: The retrospective study was carried out on 4400 cases who used three kinds of injections (salbutamol injection,terbutaline injection and chuankezhi injection)in our hospital from January 2016 to December 2016.The rationality of drug use was evaluated in respect of the route of administration, the dosage and the selection of drugs, application of drugs before and after communication. And 6 cases of ADR/ADE were analyzed. Results: During January 2016 to June 2016 and during July 2016 to December 2016, numbers of cases with unsuitable route of administration were 4057 and 319 respectively. And numbers of case with unsuitable dose were 4059 and 289 respectively. After intervention, the amount of the three injections decreased from 108 358 during January 2016 to June 2016 to 6051 during July 2016 to December 2016 with a total decrease ratio of 94.77%. Six cases of ADR/ADE were inhaled two or three drugs at the same time. Conclusion: We could promote the rational drug use, reduce medical insurance and avoid ADR/ADE through the effective intervention.
