One case of urinary incontinence induced by terazosin hydrochloride

Abstract:A 54-year-old female patient with hypertension and adrenal hyperplasia was treated with terazosin (2 mg, qn). Frequent micturition and urgent urination occurred on the seventh day. Urinary incontinence occurred on the second day after doubled dose of terazosin (2 mg, bid) and disappeared on the third day after a reduced dose (2 mg, qn), but the symptoms of frequent micturition and urgent urination remained. Frequent micturition and urgent urination resolved completely after terazosin was withdrawal for twenty four hours.
