Abstract:One 50-year-old male patient who felt abdominal distension 8 months ago without obvious cause was diagnosed as hepatocellular carcinoma, HBV infection, liver cirrhosis and decompensated liver function. The patient got interventional perfusion chemotherapy using fluorouracil and cisplatin for two times. Because of repeated abdominal distention, edema of double lower limbs and oliguresis, the patient was hospitalized again. The imaging examination indicated abdominal ascites and pleural effusion. The patient received transcatheter arterial chemoembolization (TACE) and treatments of diuresis detumescence, potassium preservation, protecting liver, antivirus after chemotherapy. In the treatment, clinical pharmacists gave medical advice and established individual care plan according to the patient's condition. After 29 days of hospitalization, the patient's symptoms improved, the patient was discharged from the hospital, and the regular follow-up effect was satisfactory.
