The standardized operation process for electronic healthcare records based ADR automatic surveillance

Abstract:[AbstrAct]Objective:To summarize the experience of computer-aided active surveillance, and complete the standardized operation process of ADR automatic surveillance for key drugs based on the electronic healthcare records.Methods:Through systematic review, the experience of active surveillance methods had been gained and the disadvantages had been exposed.results:We established and improved the standardized operation process, which included 4 procedures such as set targets, pre-experiment, active monitoring, and result reduction. Each procedure could be disassembled into some steps that were explained by taps. Based on the achievements, we plot a chart of the operation process.conclusion:The automatic surveillance system was a mature application, which would play a signiifcant role in pharmacoepidemiology, some limitation need to be further promoted.
