Survey on related medical advice of traditional Chinese medicine injections used by inpatients with tumor

Abstract:[AbstrAct]Objective:To investigate the usage of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) injections used by inpatients with tumor, and provide the references for normative use of TCM injections.Methods:Retrospective analysis the medical histories of inpatients with tumor using TCM injections from 2013 to 2015, record the names of the pharmaceuticals, usage, dosage, use time, solvent, drug combination, adverse reactions, etc.results:Among the 4 type TCM injections,Kang'ai,Shengmai,Danhong and Tanreqing injections were most used by tumor inpatients respectively. The use time of anti-tumor TCM injections was basically in accordance with the course of treatment. The proportion of non-diabetes inpatients with tumor using 0.9% sodium chloride injection as solvent ofDanhong injection was 91.89%, and that of the proportion ofShengmai injection was 97.37%. The proportion of the injected concentration of the diluted intravenous injection of TCM injection was 86.21%. The combination use of several TCM injections accounted for 5.89% of all cases using TCM injections, 15 cases of adverse reactions were reported.conclusion:The use of TCM injection existed some problems, such as inappropriate choice of solvent, the drug concentration after configuration is too high, excessive auxiliary drug use and polypharmacy, the intervention of pharmacist is necessary so as to assure the safety of drug use in patients.
