Analysis of 311 cases of adverse drug reaction reports

Abstract:Objective:To investigate the characteristics of 311 ADR cases in our hospital in order to provide reference for rational and safe drug use in clinic.Methods:Adopt retrospective method, a total of 311 cases of ADR reports collected in our hospital from January 2014 to December 2014 were statistically analyzed in terms of gender, age, route of administration, drug categories, systems/organs involved in ADR, clinical manifestations, types and outcomes of ADRs, etc.Results:Among 311 ADR cases, the incidence of ADR in the age group above 60 occupied the highest percentage (157 cases, 50.49%). Intravenous administration and oral administration took the main percentage, accounting for 54.35% and 38.26%, respectively. ADR induced by antibacterial drugs was the most common (116 cases, 37.30%). The main clinical manifestations were skin and its appendents impairment accounting for 22.83%. New and severe ADR were 43 cases (13.83%).Conclusion:Clinicians should pay attention to and strengthen the ADR monitoring, in order to promote rational drug use and reduce the occurrence of ADR.
