Abstract:In recent years, the incidence of deep fungal infection in China has increased year by year, and the invasive pathogenic fungi are increasingly threatening the health of human beings. The common pathogenic fungi in China are Candida spp (such as Candida albicans) and non-Candida species (such as Cryptococcus neoformans). Azoles are the commonly used clinical antifungal drugs, in which fluconazole and voriconazole are the most widely used. Among clinical pathogenic fungi, Candida albicans has a high susceptibility to azoles, while other pathogenic fungi such as Candida krusei and Cryptococcus neoformans exhibit a high resistance to azoles. In this paper, we reviewed the common pathogenic fungi in China and their susceptibility to azoles. Meanwhile, we made a prospect of the antifungal drugs research direction and the antifungal treatment in the future.
