Abstract:Objective:To investigate the rationality of antibacterial drugs usage in general outpatient clinics of a community health service center, and provide the references for the adjustment of the measures. Methods: The data of the antibacterials use in general outpatient clinics during 2011–2014 were studied by the methods of retrospective analysis, the proportion of antibacterials prescriptions and the quantity, DDDs and its constituent ratio of different types or levels of antibacterial drugs in general outpatient clinics from each year were compared and the rationality was evaluated. Results: The proportions of antibacterials prescriptions were 14.95%, 12.06%, 9.52%, 9.48%from 2011 to 2014 respectively, which were in steady decline and all in line with the national standard during 2011–2014. The top three antibacterial drugs of the DDDs constituent ratio each year were all the ifrst-generation cephalosporins, the second-generation cephalosporins, quinolones;the DDDs constituent ratio of the ifrst-generation cephalosporins showed the ascendant tendency;the DDDs constituent ratio of the second-generation cephalosporins showed a downward tendency;the DDDs constituent ratio of quinolones was basically stable each year except for 2012;the DDDs constituent ratios of other categories of antibacterial drugs each year were all within 15%–25%, among them, the DDDs constituent ratio of nitroimidazoles showed the ascendant tendency;the DDDs constituent ratio of unrestricted-use antibacterial drugs showed the ascendant tendency, the ratio during 2013–2014 was significantly higher than that in 2011.Conclusion:The previous management mechanism is reasonable and effective because the clinical application of antibacterial drugs has been proved to be basically reasonable during 2011–2014. It is necessary to continue implementing the previous management mechanism in the community health service center in future.
