The application and development of Meta-analysis in adverse drug reactions

Abstract：Drugs are closely related to the prevention and treatment of disease. However, adverse drug reactions (ADR) might occur even under the recommended dosage. With the extensive utilization of evidence-based medicine and increasing attention to the safety of drugs, more and more meta-analyses of ADR were reported, involving various types of clinical drugs and diseases. This paper reviewed the recently published meta-analysis of ADR, aiming to discuss the application and development of meta-analysis in ADR from the perspective of research contents and methods.
