Analysis of narcotic analgesics in our hospital during 2012 - 2014

Abstract：Objective:To investigate the utilization of narcotic analgesics in our hospital, in order to provide reference for clinical rational application of narcotic analgesics.Methods:By HIS system,the consumption sum, the total amount and DDDs of narcotic analgesics were retrospectively analyzed from 2012 to 2014 in our hospital.Results:The consumption of narcotic analgesics increased year by year. The consumption of oxycodone hydrochloride sustained-release tablet (10 mg) increased by 251.33% which was higher than that of any other drugs in 2014. The top three DDDs were that of fentanyl transdermal patches (4.2 mg), morphine sulfate sustained-release tablets (30 mg) and oxycodone hydrochloride sustained-release tablets (40 mg).Conclusion:The application of narcotic analgesics is basically rational in our hospital.
