Abstract:Objective:To compare the rationality of clinical use of antibacterials before and after special rectification activity, and evaluate the effect of this rectiifcation activity. Methods: The data about use of antibacterials from January to June in 2010 (before the special rectiifcation) and from January to June in 2014 (after the special rectiifcation) were retrospectively collected, and the numbers of antibacterials varieties and the utilization rates of antibacterial agents, antibacterials use density (AUD), the use of antibacterial agents during the preoperative period of typeⅠincision surgery and pathogenic detection rate were compared before and after the special rectiifcation activity. Results:By implementation of intervention measures, 17 kinds of antibacterials were reduced, the utilization rates and AUD in hospitalized patients decreased from 79.56% and 113.05 DDD to 47.01% and 21.19 DDD, respectively. The utilization rates and the AUD of special level antibacterial agents were controlled below 1.18% and 0.98 DDD after rectiifcation activity, the utilization rate of antibacterials during the preoperative period of typeⅠincision surgery decreased from 96.37% to 35.43%, the rational rate of appropriate time for administration and therapy course raised from 4.51% and 3.75% to 84.44% and 71.11%, respectively. The pathogenic detection rate increased from 22.52% to 44.87%.Conclusion:The special rectiifcation activities can signiifcantly inhibit the unreasonable application of antibacterials, and raise the level of rational drug use effectively.
