Abstract:Objective:To analyze the clinical application of human serum albumin in our hospital, in order to provide reference for clinical treatment. Methods:A total of 468 inpatients using human serum albumin in our hospital during August 2013 were collected by electronic medical record system. The data were recorded and statistically analyzed by Excell2007 including age, gender, diagnosis, dosage and administration, indication, serum albumin concentration before and after the utilization of human serum albumin and so on. Results:Human serum albumin was used in 30 departments for 18 categories of diseases. The amount used by tumor patients was the most. Individual consumption quantity commonly ranged from 51 g to 100 g. Most patients used this drug for hypoproteinemia (70.73%), and most of them had a baseline serum albumin level less than 30 g·L-1. Conclusion:Human serum albumin was used widely in our hospital. The application of this medicine in our hospital was far from perfect, so we should strengthen the management of the rational use of human serum albumin.
