Abstract:Objective:To investigate the clinical features, regular pattern and related factors of adverse drug reaction (ADR) reports from military hospitals and provide the reference for further deepening the drug safety monitoring. Methods: All the ADR/ADE data reported by 158 network hospitals were collected from 2009 to 2013 in the database of PLA ADR monitoring center and analyzed retrospectively. Results:Among 67 826 ADR reports, there were 8663 cases (12.77%) of new and severe ADR, and 4741 cases (6.99%) were severe ADR. Intravenous injection (78.56%) was the main administration route causing ADR. There were signiifcant differences in all kinds of constituent ratios between serious ADR and all ADR. Patients aged from 18 to 44 years accounted for the largest proportion (33.75%), and patients over 60 years old accounted for 34.40%. Anti-infective drugs (33.94%) and anti-tumor drugs (31.22%) were the most frequent in suspected drugs. Of all the ADR reports, skin and appendages damage (25.36%) was the most frequent ADR, followed by gastrointestinal system damage. However, among the serious ADR reports, systemic damage was the most (17.87%), followed by the abnormalities of blood system. Conclusion:The entire information data collection methods can signiifcantly improve the quality of ADR report data. More attention should be paid to serious ADRs, the precautionary measure of high-risk drugs and high-risk groups related to ADR should be strengthened, the key monitoring technology should be deepened in order to reduce the ADR damage.
