Abstract:Two female patients (one aged 64 years and one aged 46 years) with rheumatoid arthritis (RA) occurred numbness in two hands, hyperpathia and foot drop after taking lelfunomide (LEF). After exclusion of peripheral neuropathy (PNP) secondary to RA or induced by other drugs, lelfunomide was stopped immediately, and the symptoms of the two patients improved. Then the related literatures about PNP induced by LEF in patients with RA were reviewed, and the clinical feature, risk factors and diagnosis were summarized. The clinical prognosis of patients with lelfunomide-induced PNP can improve by withdrawal of lelfunomide.
